I went to St. Augustine and St. Gerard Majella in Culver City. I thought both were fine -- unfortunately I arrived late to St. Gerard so I missed the homily. I don't care for the standing after the Agnus Dei and communion, though, which I guess is all over the diocese.
Yes, standing after the Agnus Dei is a Mahony preference which, alas, the G.I.R.M. allows.
But, continuing to stand after one has received communion is not a prerogative of the ordinary according to the new G.I.R.M, although in Mahonyland this innovation of the Cardinal is on par with divine positive law.

This are some hot liturgical dancing girls - particularly the redhead.
I think their skirts really ought to be just a little shorter.
I wonder what Mahony was looking at or thinking with that bevy of babes flitting about him.
Or maybe that's not the sort of thing that turns him on. Yeah, that's probably it. He's not into that.
That explains everything.
At this point, the thread could use musical accompaniment.
Hilary,
Don't you think you should be able to see thru the skirts a bit more for the effect they obviously wanted?
Did any of these girls ask for the head of Pope Benedict when they were done dancing?
Why are only svelte young Anglo women chosen to be liturgical dancers?
What about “celebrating our diversity ™”?
What about dancing native-Americans, Blacks and Latinos?
What about dancing men?
What about dancers who are caloricly challenged?
Thanks, Sock. You were the inspiration for my latest post.
Quintero,
You're welcome.
It would appear that it’s not only corporate advertisers who know that “sex sells.”
Hey...where's the pole? Can't Cardinal Mahony do anything right?
