Come mourn Baby Therese Rose

"There are sorrows too deep for tears," wrote R. Tagore, India's poet laureate.

On March 12, a precious newborn girl was found dead, wrapped in plastic bags, near the tracks in the 2600 block of Mission and Front Streets in Alhambra.

St. Therese Parish will hold a vigil for Baby Therese Rose on Tuesday, March 28, at 7:00 p.m. at Front Street and Edgewood. Please attend if you can, and bring your family and friends.

The next day, March 29, there will be a funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m., with burial at 2:30 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery in Monterey Park.

As you know, to bury the dead is one of the Corporal Works of Mercy. Please come and show that this "unwanted" infant is very much wanted and loved. And please pray for the unfortunate soul(s) who abandoned her.

You can also help pay for Baby Therese Rose's burial/plot by sending a check payable to St. Therese Church in Alhambra (memo: "For Baby Therese Rose"). You could hardly make a more beautiful Lenten sacrifice. God bless you!
