Is that Goofy Grape or Chinese Cherry?
Even though you may not like the man, that is still the body, blood, soul, and divinty of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
And he is STILL ignoring Redemptionis
Sacramentum. Which was meant to be implemented over a YEAR ago! What next? I hope the Holy Father will put a cork in this guy soon.

Then all the more reason for the Cardinal Archbishop to treat the Eucharist with all due worship and reverence. He trivializes the Holy Mass and the Blessed Sacrament by refusing to OBEY what the Church has clearly mandated in the new GIRM and in Redemptionis Sacramentum.
I don't know the man and hence I cannot judge his soul. But I am most assuredly not lacking in charity because I decry his scandalous actions.
Jude you are 100% right!
I went to the Indult Mass at Daniel Murphy High School this morning. The congregation was diverse, there were lots of kids, Father gave a wonderful homily on how our purpose is to give glory to God, and the Eucharist was treated and received with great reverence, kneeling (in spite of the absence of altar rails) and on the tongue. And contrary to what I've read about the feminization of the church, there were many men in the congregation, both single and with their wives.
I have a friend in Canoga Park -- I wanted to suggest he visit a parish in his area, and I felt such a reticence to do so, for fear of what he might encounter and mistake for real Catholicism. I pray the Holy Father steps in soon.
I was in Mesa Az over the weekend and attended Mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church. I left convinced we live in a church in decline.
We arrived 10-15 minutes early and the parking lot was quite full. My son said be prepared for a culture shock. Entering the church it was hard to fine a seat empty.
Here in Los Angeles most of the churches I attend are half full as the priest with the participants of the procession enter the sanctuary. By the first reading the church has filled up with all the late arrivals.
I do think it is disrespectful and not quite the fulfillment of the Gospel reading which is the greatest commandment: love God and love neighbor
I hope the Holy Father will put a cork in this guy soon.
A couple of caps would be better.
The district attorney might succeed in putting him in a cell soon.
"Non Sum Dignus"--
What you write is very interesting, and sadly true. I take it you're in the Raleigh diocese? I also live in NC, and it has been very distressing to observe the goings-on here. (deep sigh) Pray for Bishop Gossman's successor!
