Several of the comments support the book, but several others give the real story and are pro-Cardinal McIntyre. The dissenting sisters were misled, and many led astray, by Carl Rogers' "sensitivity training."
A book on Cardinal McIntyre that I have often hoped to get is the two-volume His Eminence of Los Angeles by Monsignor Francis J. Weber, the retired historian-archivist of our Archdiocese. Commenter "Anonymous" has read it several times and praises it highly.
