Light in darkness

Clayton's The Weight of Glory blog reports on a Corpus Christi Mass and Eucharistic procession which took place last Sunday at the Dominican Sisters' Monastery of the Angels in Hollywood.

Were there any other Eucharistic events in L.A. this past weekend? Does anyone know if anything special took place at the Cathedral to honor our Eucharistic Lord?

Yes! We at in Wilmington had a Eucharistic Congress on the 28th with Rosalind Moss as one of the speakers. We had a beautiful procession up and down one of the streets near our church. It was a great day!

For some reason the /a tag didn't work twice on the above post.

Sacred Heart parish in the heart of Lincoln Heights in northeast Los Angeles also had a Eucharistic procession down the streets. Too bad the other local Catholic church in the area within walking distance, Our Lady Help of Christians, was not involved in the procession. But it did pass by two Evangelical churches.

One day Our Lord will truly reign in His Eucharistic Real Presence. In the meanwhile it is for each soul reading this to do their part with prayer, penance and an increasing love for the Blessed Sacrament that is evident in their lives. Let us honor, love and adore Him as the most important Person in our lives.
Ave Maria!
