Tod love you!

Orange Counter Register photo

Click HERE for Bishop Tod Brown's stats. He will turn 69 years of age in November which means, whether in Orange or in San Francisco, he will face retirement in 6 years. By the way, Bishop Brown's principal consecrator was THIS GUY.

See my previous post: Please God, not Tod!

Here's an article I saw on Free Republic a while back. It concerns Bishop Brown and the Tridentine Mass at Mary Star of the Sea in Huntington Beach. Last year, the pastor retired. With his retirement, the traditional Mass was discontinued.

Suzie,

I used to attend St. Mary's by the Sea in HB. The parish was told that the indult was given to Father Johnson alone and that when he retired it would not be given to anyone else. There were young priests readily available and eager to keep saying Mass according to the 1962 Missal. Bishop Brown refused to allow its continuation. For more info check out www.thelaity.com and www.uvoc.org.
