Breaking news: Mahony is leaving L.A.

L.A. Catholic sources are reporting that Cardinal Roger Mahony will be on sabbatical during the month of October. He will be visiting mainland China.
Last year the Cardinal took his first month-long sabbatical with a visit to Africa.

Man, I was hoping he was yanked to a quiet corner of the Vatican to live out his deviant and shallow life.
