All that ink spilled leaves me dizzy.
Why does the church need this kind of letter?
Is it because Mahoney doesn't know what to do with lay people?
I wonder if things like this are put together, only because people at the top are confused.
Christ asked his apostles to celebrate the Eucharist in memory of him... and the Church wants to continue to be obedient to that command.
No priesthood = no Eucharist. And without the Eucharist, what is left as the source and summit of the Christian life?
I am so very saddened as I read of the continued deconstruction of the Church in Los Angeles. The one at the top has been a most effective tool of satin. I keep hoping the civil authoritites will be able to gather the evidence to remove him because of his civilly criminal conduct. As to the immoral conduct, God will one day deal with him.
