'Gay' histrionics

'Celibate, Gay and Under Attack'

"This past February BustedHalo published an extended interview with Fr. Gerard Thomas, a celibate, gay priest who--using an assumed name for fear of reprisal--spoke very candidly about the presence of gay men in the priesthood, the pedophilia scandal and the rumors of a Vatican document that would bar homosexuals from becoming priests."

It doesn’t matter if it is due to heredity or acquired, homosexuality is a mental abnormality closely associated with other serious mental anomalies. Once that fact is acknowledged, homosexual behavior -- in all its manifestations -- although still deviant, becomes understandable. While all mentally ill individuals must be treated with respect and Christian charity, precautions and restrictions need to be made both for the good of the mentally ill and for those who may come into contact with them. These restrictions are especially important with regard to young boys and adolescents.

The homo-promo crowd who preach that homosexuality is “just” another life-style choice equal to heterosexuality, are liars. Not only must homosexuals NOT be admitted to the seminary, they need to be purged from the priesthood, episcopacy and any other position of authority they have over adolescents. For their own physical and mental welfare, they all should seek regular professional counseling.

Summary: Recent studies show homosexuals have a substantially greater risk of suffering from a psychiatric problems than do heterosexuals. We see higher rates of suicide, depression, bulimia, antisocial personality disorder, and substance abuse. This paper highlights some new and significant considerations that reflect on the question of those mental illnesses and on their possible sources.
