CBS NEWS reports ...
LOS ANGELES - Jury selection began Tuesday in the trial of a former Roman Catholic priest who is accused of molesting a boy in the early 1990s.

Michael Wempe, 65, faces up to 16 years in prison if convicted of five felony counts, Deputy District Attorney Todd Hicks said. It’s estimated that jury selection will take about three days and the trial will last about three weeks.
