Bishop Bruskewitz on purity

Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz of Lincoln, Nebraska, wrote a tremendous column on purity (click on this post's title) in the November 10 issue of the Southern Nebraska Register, his diocesan newspaper.

The bishop writes, "...the witness through the centuries of the heroic martyrs who suffered death rather than commit any sins of impurity and unchastity stands as a counter-cultural beacon in our degenerate world."

Bishop Bruskewitz praises the early virgin martyrs and then tells in detail the stories of St. Maria Goretti and the Martyrs of Uganda.

Have you heard any homilies or talks on purity lately in our Archdiocese? It would be nice to hear about them -- when and where, and so on.
