Good advice from Padre Pio
Astrid Bennett Gutierrez of Hispanics for Life and Yes on 85 and the Archdiocesan Commission on Catholic Life Issues had this quote on one of her recent Yes on 85 e-mails:

But as science has shown,a pair of working hands is more effective than a million praying lips.

St. Benedict's motto is good advice for us -- "Ora et labora," which means, "Pray and work."
All the enemies of the Church who are on the trash heap of history would admit now that millions of praying lips helped topple them.
The Rosary is of Divine origin, and it is powerful. I don't have them at hand right now, but many events in the downfall of the Soviet evil empire took place on feast days of the Blessed Mother. That says something about the millions of people who for decades prayed as Our Lady of Fatima wished.

I am glad you said 'downfall of Soviet Russia" and not downfall of Communist Russia. Communist Russia is still very alive and vey dangerous!
