Sources: Abp. Niederauer has given Communion to anti-Catholic "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence"

Does Pope Benedict XVI's pick for archbishop of sodomy-friendly San Francisco know about Canon 915's prohibition of giving Communion to obstinate public sinners?

Americans for Truth (click on this post's title) says the photo above was taken by a member of the St. Joseph's Men's Society inside Most Holy Redeemer Church in Frisco [this past weekend] and shows Abp. George Niederauer giving Communion to a fully in-drag member of the "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence."

That San Francisco-founded group of avowed sodomites dresses in perverse versions of the habits of traditional Catholic sisters; gives its members "names" that mock Catholic themes; insults Jesus, His Mother and the saints; attacks Catholic doctrine on sexual morality; and urges committing sins of sodomy.

Could you find anyone besides fully costumed "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" who better qualify as "obstinate public sinners?" Should a minister of the Eucharist give them the benefit of the doubt and assume their good will?

Would the Archbishop have given Communion to robed Klansmen?

The U.S. Catholic bishops' document Ministry to Persons with a Homosexual Inclination: Guidelines for Pastoral Care says, "Catholics who are living in accord with the Church's moral teachings are invited and encouraged to participate fully and regularly in the sacramental life of the Church."

That's "in accord with," not "in opposition to."

What if they had KNELT to receive Communion? How many priests and bishops would have refused them Communion then, and bawled them out?

As the saying goes, "Where are we going, and why are we in this handbasket?"

P.S. So far, there seems to be no statement on the S.F. archdiocesan website about this situation.

Dear Anonymous 11:34 p.m.,

We need non-liberal bishops everywhere, but will we get them?

As the saying goes in politics, "Personnel is policy."

Dear Anonymous 2:21 a.m.,

Yes, I feel pretty much the same and I sympathize very much.

It takes a lot of premeditation, a lot of gall and a lot of malice to join a vicious anti-Catholic bunch, make an elaborate costume and put on face paint, let alone to then parade up to Communion.

Why wouldn't the Archbishop tell them, "Come back when you're not making a statement, but first pray, repent, go to Confession, do your penance and make reparation."

Dear Anonymous 4:04 a.m.,

Thanks very much! You're the first with the news about the video. It's making the rounds on the Net today now.

The Catholic site www.qdomine.com in San Francisco is a courageous one that exposes a lot of rot.

("Leave your comment" it says on top. I already did. Or did I mistakenly "deleted" it? Oh well, I will try to recall it.)

These characters who call themselves "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence" have CROSSED THE LINE! The Catholic church have been lenient, patientand forgiving of them. We do live in a "free" society in this beautiful country and we do have "free speech" but these characters have ABUSED this right because they are NOT using their freedom of speech properly and in a decent and acceptable form of behavior. They are using free speech to INSULT the Catholic Church by MOCKING our mostr sacred practice of Holy Communion. I have a question for you homosexual "men" hiding behind face paint: Would you have the guts or the gall to do what you did inside the Holy Redeemer Church in a MUSLIM MOSQUE or a JEWISH SYNAGOGUE? Of course not because the Muslim jihadists or the Hebrew warriors of the Mossad will surely HUNT YOU DOWN and perhaps even execute you! You just did this to the Catholic church because you know we are forgiving and lovng and lenient. And I say to my fellow Catholics: RISE UP and DEFEND THE FAITH! do not be meek like lambs brought to the slaughter. That is why I admire the Muslim fathful in some way because they are MILITANT about their faith; just recall how they protested WORLDWIDE when their Prophet Mohammed was ridiculed in a funny cartoon by a Danish cartoonist. Worldwide protests by the Muslim faithful. And the JEWISH DEFENSE LEAGUE have protected the Jewish faith in many instances in the past. Therefore I say: WAKE UP CATHOLICS! RISE UP and DEFEND THE FAITH! Let us love our neighbor as Our Lord Jesus Christ said but when someone insult Our Lord represented in the Holy Eucharist during Holy Communion that person is proclaiming himself or herself as "THE ENEMY", not our neighbor. I've read somewhere that St. Thomas Aquinas wrote a treatise that "war is justified to DEFEND oneself". This is war! And those fake "sisters" have WAGED war AGAINST the Catholic church for so long. Catholics - especially from San Francisco - WAKE UP! Love your true neighbors but LEARN WHO YOUR ENEMIES ARE and one of them are the so-called "SISTERS OF FAKE, er,PERPETUAL INDULGENCE!"

Dear Lowly Sinner,

I think you are not advocating violence, revenge or retaliation against anyone. I would delete any such comment by anyone.

I specifically and emphatically denounce any advocacy of violence, revenge or retaliation, obviously, and I strictly prohibit it here.

But parishes can guard themselves, in a strictly defensive posture, against outside attacks -- by working with the police ahead of time, having a plan in place to have the ushers phone the police immediately in case of attack, stationing as guards during Masses and other events and services any parishioners who are off-duty law enforcement or military, and perhaps using as guards, during Masses, other services and any events some physically able Knights of Columbus.

Parishes should also have video surveillance cameras covering the sanctuary and elsewhere inside and outside their churches. Motion detectors are also good.

Parishes can also employ security and guard services to patrol their premises and their neighborhoods.

Pastors and parishioners in concert with them should also work ahead of time with the local district attorney and the local FBI and other law enforcement officials to make sure that they will seek hate crimes charges against everyone who commits anti-Catholic attacks.

Christ's peace be with us all.
