Why did he wait so long to speak up???
Well, now we know that Cardinal Mahony won't be hanging around Jimmy when he comes to LA. :)

!
How awsome!
This made my day.
I just came across this in the Drudge Report and to say the least I'm a bit surprised.
I know about a few years back he chastised the Southern Baptist Convention for its attitudes towards women, but never mentioned his stance on abortion.
With the exception of this comment (which is an anomoly), he still counts in the record books as THE WORST AMERICAN President of the 20th century.
He's brave now that there are no votes to lose. That's all.
Carter gave pro-lifers the barge pole treatment in the 1970s.
WAY TOO LITTLE WAY TOOOO LATE!!!! AND HE NEVER SPEAKS ABOUT CONTRACEPTION. HE IS A AMERICAN PROTESTING CHRISTIAN!

So Jimmay has finally entered into the :second childhood"
As a pro-life Democrat, I am delighted that Jimmy Carter has spoken out on the abortion issue. Jimmy Carter is pro-life and federal funding of abortion was banned during his administration. Could he have done more to stop abortion ? Yes, but so could have our Republican politicians who have been using and taking pro-lifers for granted all of these years. I hope that the Democratic Party leadership will listen to Carter's sound advice.
What is the difference between abortion, especially partial birth, and the killing of the Jews as they entered into the gas chambers?
Many,NOT ALL, of the democrats have SOME(only some)conern about killing a baby as it is emerging.
Please God, help us ALL to be horrified about the slaughter of the little ones.
Rita
