To the tune of Haugen-Haas' "Gather Us In":
Here in this place, a bad song is starting,
Now will the altar turn into a stage.
All that is holy is slowly departing,
Making a way for the coming New Age.

With thanks to:

Gather us in and hold us together, Gather us in and make us your own, Gather us in and bind together; fire of love in our flesh and our bone

Well I do have 2 cousins that work with Marty Haugen and David Haas. Linda, could you come up with an entire song in that tune, it would be comical as all hell. Well both of my cousins are liberal as most of my mother's family. I have one aunt that says confession is outdated and another that says no priest is better than a bad priest. Remember they both had clowns for shepards too +Raymond Lucker and +John Roach. Yes they both turned the church into a stage.

My former parish priest (who taught me RCIA, too by the way) was an open flaming liberal to the point of being a heretic. He -- in RCIA class!! -- frequently bashed JohnPaul II for his orthodox opinions and informed us that Wojtyla had no idea what Vatican II was REALLY trying to accomplish. He taught us Universal Salvation (no one is lost) in RCIA class, and in the Homilies at Mass he promoted homosexuality etc. Thank GOD he is no longer the priest at my parish, but did the archbishop remove this openly-heretical man from ministry? NOPE. He transferred him to another parish in the Archdiocese of Miami.
That's why heresy is rampant in the church: neither the Pope, nor the Bishops, will remove heretical priests from the active ministry, even though by Divine Law they are obligated to do so in order to protect the Flock from spiritual poison. By the way, if I DID live in Los Angeles, I would NOT submit to the jurisdiction of Mahony nor attend any of the parishes under his control. Why? Simply because as a Catholic I have a RIGHT to know that in going to Mass I will not be fed liberal poison in the homily.
