Good news about Latin Mass in Kansas City, Mo.
Today's Kansas City Star reports (click on this post's title) on Kansas City-St. Joseph Bishop Robert Finn's current restoration of Old St. Patrick Oratory in downtown Kansas City (Mo.), his decision to turn it over to the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest and the beautiful and reverent Tridentine Latin Masses at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Kansas City.
(The bishop says he wants the Tridentine Latin Mass congregation to prosper. He is letting them have Latin Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows until Old St. Patrick is ready.)
Parts of this news article are very moving -- and there is a photo gallery of the Mass, too.

I would like to go there.
I wish Cardinal Mahony would give our Latin Mass community it's own parish. Right now, we have to travel all over the diocese to a different location every Sunday to hear Mass in the old rite. There was a petition circulated to this end last year, but I never heard the outcome.
