How can pro-aborts claim to care about "health care for children?"
A friend says he votes Democrat because -- he's utterly wrong about this, of course -- Republicans, he claims, "are against health care for children."
So I've set him straight about George W. Bush's social spending far outdoing Slick Willie Clinton's.
And I've also told him, "Democrats should be the last people on Earth to ever bring up 'health care for children' -- because they are 100% for aborting 1.2 million American babies every year! An aborted baby is not a healthy baby!"
My friend has not come up with any answer for that. How could he?

Great job in setting your friend straight, Quintero. Perhaps he doesn't have an answer to that as he may still be gazing at the world's largest sign put up by the DNC's "welcoming committee" on a Denver mountain that says it all: http://tinyurl.com/6225eh
NOW WHO'S the one-issue voter here? (Regarding Joseph Biden) “He’s very committed to helping working-class folks and poor people and that’s what Catholic social teaching is ALL (emphasis mine) about,” said the Rev. Thomas Reese, senior fellow of the Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University in Washington.
There is no answer to it, you've made an in arguable point.
Dear Pax Christi of Bakersfield,
Thanks for the link about the giant pro-life sign that those great pro-lifers put up on the hillside.
And thank you for providing the really telling quote from Fr. Thomas Reese, whom, as we know, the lefty news media just love to quote.
Fr. Reese hasn't figured out, or won't admit, that Catholic social teaching does not permit the mass killing of babies in the womb.
Fr. Reese also hasn't figured out, or won't admit, that killing the babies of working people and poor people DOES NOT HELP THEM and is NOT A CATHOLIC SOCIAL PRINCIPLE.
Thank you again for bringing to light this shocking quote from Fr. Reese.
