Pro-aborts prominent at Cathedral funeral Mass

A report (click on this post's title) in today's L.A. Times says that after the Communion at Cardinal Mahony's funeral Mass for Robert Graham, the sculptor who did the bronze doors for the new cathedral and also did the bizarre statue of Our Lady above them, L.A.'s mayor/alcalde Antonio Villaraigosa and Maria Shriver (wife of Gov. Schwarzy) gave eulogies.

Hizzoner and Maria Shriver have both made it plain in the past that they are for keeping it "legal" for abortionists to abort babies.

Besides Catholic themes, Mr. Graham's cathedral doors' panels include "pre-Christian symbols" such as "Samoan Kava Bowl," "Sicilian Legs (regeneration symbol)" and "Raven Eating Man's Liver."

As for Mr. Graham's totality of work: At http://www.christinabalch.com/writing/index.html -- there is a review, entitled "The Female Form Exploited," by artist Christina Balch, a feminist, of an exhibit of his. Miss Balch wrote, among other things, that his sculptures "accentuated the sexual anatomy" and that "it would appear that Graham utilized his artistic ventures to satisfy more carnal needs rather than artistic studies."

Just as we do for everyone who enters eternity, we should, of course, pray for the repose of Mr. Graham's soul.
