Senate confirms L.A. pro-abort Hilda Solis as Labor Secretary

The U.S. Senate voted 80-17 today to confirm Rep. Hilda Solis (D) as Labor Secretary.

She calls herself Catholic but is a longtime pro-abort. She joined 47 other congressmen and women in 2004 in writing Cardinal McCarrick to demand that bishops not withhold Communion from politicians like themselves who facilitate the slayings of babies by the millions.

Well, that's not quite how Rep. Solis and her pals put it. But they should have, if they wanted to be honest.

Hildy also joined other Democrats in Congress in 2006 in signing a "Statement of Principles [sic]" in which they insisted they are good Catholics even though they "follow their consciences [sic]" by being for aborting babies and thus flouting Catholic doctrine on the sanctity of human life.

Well, that's not quite how the pro-aborts put that statement, either. But they should have, if they wanted to be honest.

Hildy lives in El Monte. Do you suppose Cardinal Mahony or anyone else from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles has ever tried, or is now continuing to try, to get her to repent of her complicity in mass abortion? Sure hope so.

Seems we have a lot of CINO politicians, doesn't it.
