Masses like these have attracted millions of African-Americans to the Catholic Church leading them to nearly pound down the door of the Church in order to come in.
Not.
We just laugh at the po' whites trying so hard to be Black.
Fortunately, I eventually did enter the Catholic Church, but not because of this nonsense. You see, in addition to having rhythm, I do have a brain. What helped me find my way to the Church wasn't "afro-liturgies" which are bogus, but rather people like Alex Jones and Scott Hahn.
I don't exactly understand what is going on in. Is that some sort of pagan ritual? It looks like they have some sort of incense. I thought priests could only do that. (not the dancing though).
Continuing my survey of Traditional Latin Masses in Southern CA, I traveled to San Diego to the Holy Cross Chapel. It was wonderful, and they used a lot of incense, for all the right reasons in all the right places!
By just a last minute change in plans went to Holy Family in Glendale. The Pastor Father Shea was awesome. Getting his flock in tune to celebrate Advent. He really hit home what is expected from us. Need more of priests that preacher clearly and effectively.

God bless Alex Jones!
that guy in the front looks like Ice-T
the "audience" facial expressions look like they're at a siegfried and roy show.
This small photographic slice of the people in attendance at this 'Black Culture liturgy' shows very few if any 'Blacks' in attendance.

Veni, veni, Emmanuel
Oh gee. I am black and if I saw something like this at my church I'd be the first one out the door and screaming in the parking lot.
