New Year's Resolutions for a Cardinal (#3)
(Presented one per day)
THREE: END THE ARTIFICIAL "PRIEST SHORTAGE" Invite bishops in Poland, Africa and other places known for loyalty to the Magisterium to send some of their abundant priests and seminarians into your Archdiocese. Encourage your priests and seminarians to learn from their example.
Borrow some officials from dioceses that have plentiful priestly vocations and turn your seminary over to them. Let them restore doctrinal orthodoxy, loyalty to the Vicar of Christ, liturgical reverence, moral discipline, traditional prayers, devotion to the Blessed Mother, and the sublime concept of the priesthood that seminaries used to instill in young men. Have them show the door to any and all homosexual seminarians, staff or faculty.
Give the boot to any of your current officials who long for priestesses or who abort the vocations of orthodox candidates.
And watch your seminary fill up with outstanding future priests.
