REC -- as in "wreck"

The time has come: The Archdiocese's annual Religious Education Congress (REC) runs March 30-April 2, this Thursday through Sunday, at the Anaheim Convention Center. I really hope you will join our prayerful brothers and sisters in picketing there this Saturday, April 1, from 9 a.m. to around 6 p.m., at the two main entrances.

Sure, the REC will have many good speakers -- but just as sure, there will be many bad ones, pro-abortion, pro-homosexual subverters of Catholic doctrine, morality, the priesthood and the papacy; and they will deceive the elect with vile heresy couched in seemingly innocent-sounding language.

Please come and join the prayerful picket in order to alert attendees to not swallow any heresy themselves and to not inadvertently take any heresies home and repeat them to their students, families, friends and fellow parishioners.

You might save someone's soul, or even many souls! Anyway, you will be witnessing for Catholic truth, you will be doing good Lenten penance, and you will be meeting fun, sharp, committed Catholic activists who have a lot in common with you.

Cardinal Mahony once termed the picketers "simple people, without influence." Now is your chance to show him how much influence "simple" Catholics can have.

For more information, e-mail organizer Ken Fisher at or call him at 714-491-2284. Bring your rosary, and bring a friend or two with you!

I was at the Cardinal's Mass on Sunday some years ago and he poked fun at a group of people who came up to him at the Vatican. They wanted to complain to a Vatican offical about the Cardinal in LA. He made them out to be baffoons because they did not reconize who they where speaker to.
I e-mailed the Cardinal to complain and his reply was contrite. He also told me he was going to think over what I said.

I'm amazed at his response. Did you identify yourself as a lawyer?

I can't be there on Saturday, but will be praying for you during my adoration hour at Our Lady Help of Christians in Garden Grove, from 5 to 6 a.m.

Thanks for all you are doing to promote the prayerful demonstration tomorrow. Some of us intend to be there on Sunday as well, and we will make sure anyone else who joins us will have all the materials they need.

By the way, at last count, there were at least 40 definite heterodox speakers and many more questionable ones.

At this kind of Congress, ONE SUCH SPEAKER IS TOO MANY!

Are Our Lord and His Mother asking you to come and prayerfully demonstrate at the REC tomorrow anywhere from 9:00 AM until roughly 6:00 PM when the modernistic Mass complete with dancing girls begins?

Pleae come and join CRCOA tomorrow, we have plenty of literature and signs for those who do come. The more spiritual volunteers we have, the more we can put the truth into the hands of those who are ORDERED
to attend this Dissenter fest.

Pray that it does not rain; but if it does, the heresy does not stop so neither should Their true children. Come rain or shine, CRCOA will be there. Will you?
