"The Priests of September 11, 2001"
Here is a photo of dust-covered Father Raymond Nobiletti, MM, ministering to other survivors after the collapse of the WTC towers on 9/11. Father Edward J. Burns has written about him and other priests of 9/11 (click on this post's title).Somehow this reminds me of the words of solace and hope that the late Cardinal Terence Cooke spoke to Vietnamese refugees as they arrived here in the Golden State back in 1975: "Wherever you go, you will find the Catholic Church."
Thank God for our priests. Let us never fail to pray for them.
