A good way to start the new year 2010
"Jesus, Mary, I love you, save souls!"
Use this good, wise counsel from St. Francis de Sales (1567-1622):
"Consider the past as nothing and say, like David, 'Now I begin to love my God.'"
Happy New Year!

this is a great post
Do you have any idea if there is a prayer associated with your quote of St. Frances of De Sales? I love that quote and have had it written in a prayerbook for a long time. Thank you and May God Bless you.

Dear LadyCriesTheBluz,
Thanks for writing! In response to your question, I've looked up St. Francis de Sales quotes on the Web but have found only that quote and no prayer or other context for it.
I wrote out the quote for myself some time ago and I don't recall where I found it.
Thanks for your kind words, and God bless you, too!
